Some of the most extravagant Christmas light displays in NYC can be found in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn. Many of the lights are done professionally, in a friendly competition to “outdo” each other. You’ll also find large motorized and inflatable Christmas decorations in addition to the lights. Where: 11th to 13th Aves, from 83rd to 86th StreetSubway: D/M trains to 18th Ave; R train to 86th StreetWhen: Best time to go is on weekends between 7-9pm
